The idea for the book, The Rise of Mystery Babylon, originated over fifteen years ago. A traumatic experience launched the author into a search for numerous answers relating to life, and why things are the way they are. The direction of research would eventually focus on the earliest chapters of the biblical book of Genesis. From this scripture, the author believes many of the answers to why the world is the way it is, today, would originate. The best way to look at how situations developed in the world today is to look where they originated in the past. From a simple collection of interesting notes and thoughts, The Rise of Mystery Babylon incorporated almost every ancient text or historical document related to these early chapters of Genesis. There were over thirty well-known ancient texts used, as well as hundred of books and fragmented works. This two-volume work has now developed into a storehouse of information, on a massive scale never before seen previously. There seems to be one ultimate story of Genesis, with much of the information that was left out of the biblical narrative supplied by other pertinent and reliable texts. The author has devoted his life to research and report these little-known interpretations of biblical scripture. He hopes that understanding these alternate views will open the eyes of others around him. The theme of this book is to stop the saying, "Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it" to become a reality once more - to give revealing, positive information to those truly seeking more out of their lives. Both volumes are in progress. The author is actively seeking a publisher for this work, which would finally allow this information to have its proper place among the rest of the skewed information available to the seeker today.
