What is 'Mystery, Babylon...?' From Genesis to Revelation, the name Babylon has come up, again and again, all throughout the Holy Scriptures. In this site, we will discover just what Mystery Babylon was, how it survived, and what it has become today. We will discover just who the arch enemy of the true church is: this Babylonian system of old. We will discover how a system that began in Babylon so long ago had survived, and flourished, and currently manipulates many processes in our world today. This site also provides an outlet for little-known or otherwise suppressed interpretations of stories in the Bible. No, this is not a "politically-correct" attempt to water-down what was commonplace in biblical wording for thousands of years, nor is it an attempt to contradict what the words actually say; quite the opposite. This site upholds the Scriptures. We value the Bible for the original words and content contained therein. The problem with Biblical interpretation lies in the variety of meanings in the original ancient Hebrew words, as well as in attempts by flawed human beings to correctly translate it into other languages. Mystery-Babylon.org contributes information from a variety of ancient yet reliable sources, many of which help to compliment these Biblical stories. These same sources also help us to discover what the original Hebrew words in the Bible might actually be trying to say. The supporting information from these other texts may just shed enough light to give us many of the missing or distorted elements contained in popular biblical accounts, as well as biblical prophecy. Why does this other information matter? Possible elements of our history might remain hidden without it; obscured, for the most part, inside the "politically correct" standard of modern-day interpretation. The followers, powers, and principalities that support the "Mystery" system of ancient Babylon have, for thousands of years, kept people from understanding the true meanings of the Bible through ways such as this. These same powers have diligently attempted to manipulate, change, or suppress anything that could oppose it. They want to destroy the true words of the Bible, for example, for one simple reason: they could undermine, or expose, the "thought machine" that was built up, over time. Once we begin to understand the truths of what is Mystery Babylon, as well as these other interpretations to ancient Biblical stories, we begin to gather new insight into what could really be going on in our world today. As we'll discover, there could actually be a parallel between the ways people lived in the days of the biblical Noah and the ways that are being lived today. It was also during this time - the time of Noah - that the ancient system of Babylon began. Almost four thousand years ago, not far beyond the flood of Noah, there was an attempt by a number of people to unify their world - one government as well as one religion. This first, great unification of mankind marked the synchronization of their cultural, political and religious thought into one conglomerated ideology - a modem of thought which became the foundation for the establishment of the Tower of Babel (a.k.a. Babylon). The founders of this "one world" system were the biblical Cush and Nimrod. The tower became mankind's symbolic statement of vanity - a declaration of independence from any authority of God. Cush and Nimrod also began their "push for power" at this time as well. Utilizing the religious and political thoughts they helped to establish, a system of thought, ideology and perception was established - only to be passed on from one empire to the next. Despite attempts by Godly people to destroy the control and influence that began at this Tower, the system would continue on, even in the shadows of their everyday lives. The rebellion that became popularized at Babylon often went undercover - the reason being was that, at one time, their entire system was almost destroyed, as we'll see. The physical tower, even the city of Babylon, would eventually crumble over time. The system of thought and control would continue on, slowly manifesting itself into the Mystery form of Babylon - now using a variety of religious, political and cultural influences. Throughout time, and also today, there were those of authority and influence who wanted to unify the world in thought and deed - as well as destroy anything or anyone who dared oppose it. If "history repeats itself", as it often does, then understanding what went on in ancient history is the key to diagnosing what could really be going on in our world, today. The lifestyles of Noah's say truly appears to be re-surfacing again, often brought on through the culture and lifestyles of the very descendants who once practiced it, years ago!
